My Edmonstone Family
My great grandfather Robert Edmonstone was born in Kelso Roxburghshire Scotland,January 21, 1850 the son of Thomas Edmonstone and Margaret Wright.
The date of Robert's emigration to Canada,is not known to me.
Robert was not included in the 1871 Ontario Census,but on January 22, 1872 he married Hanna Duke of Sydenham Twp., Grey County Ontario Canada, the daughter of William Duke and Sara Vale.
Robert's children Sarah, born 1874,William(my grandfather) born 1876, Rebecca born 1677, Elba, born 1880, Samuel born 1881, Roland born 1883, John born 1885, Margaret born 1887, Isabella, born 1889, Robert, born 1891, and Sydney born 1896.
