My Ancestor was David Downs of Green Co. Ga. ( He wed earlier to Elizabeth Edmundson ,Daughter of Bryant Edmundson -1806 in Halifax Co. N.C.)Can you tell me about Bryant Edmundson ,were they from N.C. by any chance?Earlier in Halifax Co. n.c. David has an aunt who also wed into the Edmundson Family Her name was Sarah Downes ( daut. of William Downes of Halifax Co.),she died in 1817 in Morgan Co. Ga. -that is where the rest of Davids Downs Family went in abt.1806-1808.-Llewellyn Rinald
