John & Lydia [Downing]; dau. Ellender?

Hi. I'm trying to find more information on Ellender Edmondson Norris, wife of Luke Norris. This family moved to south Mississippi in the early 1800's. They supposedly were married in North Carolina, ca 1796. I've seen it reported that Ellender was the daughter of John and Lydia [Downing] Edmondson, but I've never seen the documentation myself. If John and Lydia were born in the early 1760's, as reported, and Ellender married ca 1796, she must have been among the oldest children and married young. Her husband Luke Norris was probably born in 1767, so she must have been 10-15 years younger than him. If anyone can help with this, I would appreciate it. My wife descends from Ellender Edmondson Norris' daughter Lucinda who married John Graham in Covington County, MS. Thanks.
