Searching for parents and siblings of Samuel Edmiston b. 1785 either NC or VA (differing censuses!) married Jane Gilston 1805 in Orange County, NC. Member Stoney Creek Presby Church 1821 to 1843. A woman Sarah Edmiston joined the church with Jane and Samuel. Was she Samuel's mother or sister? Had children in NC. Sons names: John, David Gilston, James Mortimer, Henry Piquard. Moved to Harrison County, Missouri in 1843. Died about 1868 in MO.
