I am not related to Isaac Edmondson of SC but might be related to Samuel Simpson through my grandmother Emma Simpson Edmondson's people. I have posted my Simpson information on the Simpson GenForum. Have you looked at that? My Simpson ancestors settled in Dooly County, Georgia, about 1840. They came from NC as far as we can determine. Some of them might well have stopped in SC.
