I'm looking for this family because of my 2g grandfather. He was born in Alabama but his older siblings...Martha born about 1828, James M born about 1830 and Mary J born about 1834...were born in Tennessee. This came from the 1850 Federal Census for Benton County Alabama (apparently they had moved from Tennesssee to Alabama after 1834). Mary, their mother, was listed as head of household, which I guess meant her husband died before 1850.
I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
