I know that my grandmother Edmondson was there in 1906 thru at lest 1910 ..My older family members have always said she was there before that. I think its on her birth record but not sure. The Aunt ( Meece Hooker )that rasied her live for sometime in Tennessee (polk county) I not at all sure her fathers name was Tom

Walter Cannon married Pearle Edmondson on 1 April 1906 in Floyd County Book H page 239
There first son died there in Jan. 1910
She was 23 in the 1910 Census so her birth date would be about 1887

Has your family been there many years???
