DOOLY COUNTY, GEORGIA
Dooly was created in 1821 from the Creek Cession of 1821. Worth was taken in part from Dooly in 1853.
Wilcox was taken in part from Dooly in 1857. Crisp was taken entirely from Dooly in 1905. Turner was taken in part
from Dooly in 1905. County seat is Vienna. Dooly had a courthouse fire in 1847. County seat is Vienna.

George Edmondson, 13, born in SC. Living with Pleasant McKey, 26, and wife Perlson P., 18, both born in GA.
(It appears George is the same as listed in the family of Thomas and Margaret who lived next door. (This is the same family. Perlson is an older sister. There was also a younger sister, Frances Elizabeth, born in 1853. One of her descendants has Frances' Bible....Kathy Jo Bryant.)
