Nancy has uncovered more information on L.L. Edmondson. Lawrence Ludlow Edmondson was the second husband of Sarah Edmondson, marrying her in 1862 in Murray County, Georgia. She was a daughter of Sen. James Edmondson of Murray who bought the Vann House at Spring Place and lived there many years. Sarah and L.L. had three children who need to be traced. She died about 1870. Another use of the name L.L. Edmondson. John Leonidas Edmondson, brother of Sarah above, and his first wife Sarah Buchanan, had a child Lawrence Ludlow Edmondson, who died as an infant about the same time his mother died in 1850. What happened to Lawrence Ludlow Edmondson, husband of Sarah Edmondson, and the three children of the marriage? Is he the same man in Habersham County a few years earlier? Is he a son of George and Letitia Edmondson or does he come from the lineage of Thomas Edmondson of Mecklenburg County, Virginia, Sen. James Edmondson's father? So far, attempts to explore a connection with the Ludlow family have turned up nothing. Input would be welcome from others. Notify Administrator about this message?
