There were two Edingtons, Phillip and John, I believe, living in what is now northern Blair Co. before, during and after the Revolution, but they seem to have disappeared by about 1800. Perhaps Miss Edington was their sister or a daughter of one of them. I am the great-great-great-great grandson of John and the aforementioned Miss Edington, and although I have a complete family history subsequent to John Edmiston settling in Blair Co(part of Huntingdon Co. at the time) I have no information about his previous family history save for the knowledge that you already have. Where did you find the ca. 1750 birthdate? Didn't have that.Sorry I couldn'y be of any more help. The Bellwood Public Library(the town near where the Edingtons lived) does I beieve, have some additional info on the Edingtons.Bellwood-Antis Public Library, 526 Main St.,Bellwood,PA. 16617
