I am particularly interested in a John CHILDRESS as mentioned in the following abstract:

I believe this plat is mentioned in an 1811 deed from George GILREATH to his brother Jesse--both these men are sons of William GILREATH fl Wilkes Co NC and Newberry Co SC. George GILREATH sells land originally granted to John CHILDRESS: I have not been able to determine how George GILREATH got the CHILDRESS land.

I will send my notes for John CHILDRESS (I have about 10 individuals, I think; and, there will be some overlap as I've tried to distinguish them from each other) to your email.
