John Edmundson was my ggg-grandfather. He came to Giles co. Tn. from Newberry Sc. with his sons Elihu and Joseph Smith Edmundson in 1836. He built a house at Bethel Tn. His son Joseph married Susan Gilbert of Prospect, Tn. They had 11 children. Two died young. Four became doctors . My g-grandfather was Van Oneal Edmundson. He had four children by Mattie Lou Brown. And two by Zora Rogers. Annie Alma Edmundson Married Joseph Claud Rogers and they Had five children. Dorothy Zemula Rogers married Wilson Ivey and They had two children, One died in early childhood.
