My g-grandfather was Thomas Jerold Edmonson b. ca 1839-42. His father was supposed to be a tall Swede named "Bill"
(William). They were supposed to be from South Carolina. I have found Thomas on an 1870 Geneva Co. Alabama census with his immediate family. My grandmother was Arnetta Lelon.

Your William's birth year is within range for my Thos. father. Well, there we are! I have all on Thos. J. on down his line. I am
looking for William. What do you think?
