Hi Marv, Thank you for your follow-up regarding Thomas EDMONDSON. I think we may be talking about two different guys. Our Thomas was born in 1786, the son of Benjamin (d. ca. 1795) and his grandfather was UPTON (d. ca. 1771). Lots of people with the same or similar names. Anyway, based on recent discoveries I believe (unconfirmed at this time) that our Thomas was in Lunenburg County, VA in 1820, in Montgomery County, TN in 1830, in Giles County, TN in 1840, 1850 & 1860 (all census). I haven't found him in 1870 but I do have a date of death (original source unknown) of 1873. If you are a descendent of the Lunenburg, Amelia, Brunswick, and Halifax area group of EDMONDSONs you might want to join a small group of us currently exchanging information. You would see a lot of information on collateral lines and it will add significantly to your "inbox" but might not necessarily help you with your specific line. But then maybe your information would help us! Email me if you think you might want to join us. rbj485@bellsouth.net Thanks again for the follow-up. Best Regards. Russ James of Erin, TN.
