Benjamin and Upton are certainly names in my family line. I think your discoveries are very interesting, and I would like to tie you in with other researchers on this line. I will also go into my data base & try to pull up all my Upton information, etc. I don't know what you found that showed you that this is my line, but I start with Thomas Edmondson m. Anne Gregory. Benjamin was there son, and I think Benjamin's wife was Margaret (Upton) Underwood. I think the first Upton was there son & then there were others. I'll have to look to see who came next, but I am looking at a chart that shows some of my Edmondson ancestors on it. Thomas Edmondson married Grissell Coleman. His son was Richard Coleman Edmondson m. Elizabeth Brown.
Then I skip to another chart that is in my loose files and I am finding a Samuel Edmondson born 5 June 1788 born in Lunenburg Co., Va., and died 23 Feb 1865 in Montgomery Co., Tenn, and buried in Edmondosn Cem., Montgomery Co., Calrksville, Tenn. He is alleged to be the son of an Upton and a Mary, and he had a brother Upton born 16 May 1767 in Lunenburg Co., Va., according to one Mormon Ancestral File submitter. They are alleged to have had another brother, Benjamin born 9 Oct 1770. in Lunenburg Co., Va. You may have found part of this crowd, but is all very confusuing where the Uptons come in.
