Ella Edmondson was my great-great grandmother. She was the mother of Ethel Spillyard who was the mother of
Lorene Spillyard Derrick, mother of Clyde Derrick, my father. Ella lived to be 99 years old in Forrest, LA. She lived with her daughter Zola . Ella had been in a car wreck and was crippled for the last 15 years of her life. She was a very jolly woman. She died when I was 16 years old. My father said that her husband had a handle-bar moustache.
How are you related? His granddaughter Johnnie Mae Spillyard Albritton is still alive, I believe.
