I am looking for the ancestors and siblings of Meredith Edmondson (14 May 1836 - 06 March 1888), who is buried with his wife Phoebe (10 October 1846 - 24 March 1922) at Forsyth County at Corinth Cemetery. Having served in Company D, 9th Georgia Battallion Artillery, Meredith was a Confederate Veteran after the War For Southern Independence. Meredith and Phoebe had 5 children:
1) Laura Edmondson, who married a Montgomery,
2) Rennie Edmondson, who married C.I. White,
3) Harmon Lee Edmondson (01 December 1879 - 28 December 1959), who married Mary Emily Buice,
4) John Braxton Edmondson (06 December 1881 Corinth District, Forsyth County, Georgia - 26 September 1955 Hall County, Georgia), who married 1910 Mamie Hamilton (07 November 1891 - 07 December 1948 Hall County, Georgia) &
5)George Edmondson, who married whose first name is Maudie.
Both Harmon Lee & John Braxton Edmondson both purchased the Georgia Chair Factory in 1914 at Flowery Branch, Georgia, where they later moved the factory to Gainesville, Georgia in 1920.
My wife's grandfather Charles Keather Edmondson, who sadly passed away earlier today, is a son of John Braxton & Mamie Hamilton Edmondson.
Any information on this particular branch of the Edmondson Family and their ancestors would greatly be appreciated.
