Hello,
I've seen documents that my two great
aunts (both Edmondson offspring of Henry
Edmondson) accumulated during the 40's
while trying to qualify to join the DAR.
All data traces back to Samuel Edmondson
and Edmund Edmondson and S. Halifax,
VA. Im trying to find which one of my
current relatives down here (New Orleans)
has borrowed and not returned the cache
of documents assembled by my great
aunts & the lady geneologist in Virginia who
aided them in their search. I was born in
Memphis, TN (by sheer coincidence)and
moved to Tx shortly there after. My Father,
Henry Clyde Edmondson, Jr. was born in
Hanley, TX (Ft. Worth), my grandfather &
his father and his father were all Texans,
the last being a founder of Dallas, TX in the 1850's after migrating from east Tenn.
Please let me know how much farther you've gone with this if you will & I'll try to
find the documents I had from the geneo-
logist that might bear some light on all of
this.
