Major Henry Archer Edmondson was a field officer in Armistead's Brigade of Pickett's Division. He survived Pickett's Charge at Gettysburg with a shoulder wound. He later owned a large tobacco warehouse in South Boston, VA, in southern Halifax County, Va.
