I am looking for my ancestors from Alabama. Would love to know where they were from prior to settling in Alabama. James William Edmondson, Born Dec. 8, 1827, served in Civil War, died Jan 2, 1961, buried in 4-mile cemetery, Wilsonville, Alabama, Shelby County, was married to Jessie Adaline Gravett, born June 20, 1830, died Jan. 11, 1919. They had 7 children, one David Hitson Edmondson, my grandfather. Any links?
