Searching for information on James Edmonds, born in New York state in 1795. Married Elizabeth Owens prior to 1821. Nine children include:John, 1821; William 1823; Lucy, 1830; Giles 1831; Catharine, 1833; JamesII, 1836, Ansel 1838, George A., 1841 & Harriett, 1843.
James spent his later years in an old soldiers home near the Nebraska border.Elizabeth died of heart trouble while camping southwest of Washington, Iowa. All children were born in New York State, possibly near Syracuse. James was a farmer. I have much information on descendant marriages and children, but nothing from pre Iowa. Would love to share.
