After I posted the message I also looked at NY and found no Ross county. It then dawned on me that it was maybe Ross county Ohio.
My Grandmothers father came from Ross County Ohio. His name was Edward Edmonds (Cyrus may be his brother). He was born 12/28/1841 in Ross County. He moved to Tippecanoe county, Indiana and married
Catherine (Kathren) Cole. My Grandmother was born in Tippecanoe county in Oct 25, 1870. They moved from Indiana to Illinois where 3 more children were born; Benjamin Edmonds in 1877, Anson M. Edmonds in 1878, Edna Edmonds in 1881. They moved to Butler county Nebraska where another son Earle E. Edmonds was born in 1888. Edward and Catherine were both killed in a tornado in Nebraska in 1915. If you have any more information or if I can help you in any way please e-mail me. Thanks
