Hi Debbie, You mentioed New York...My grandfather had a brother who moved to New York. He was Alonzo Edmonds...He had a brother...My grandfather named Ross E., another brother named Lodie and a sister named Beatrice..The date of his birth sounds close...curious as to where you got the New York at first. Alonzo had four or five children who came to Tenn visiting and stayed with Lodie and Mattie for a visit. My grandfather was already desceased...but I do not have the names of those children. They were born in New York and my family knew little of them.....Lodie did not have children, Beatirce married a Wooten and had two children...Subie and Eric...she died in 1933. Lodie died sometime in the late 40's or early 50's...to give you a reference point. I keep hoping someone will post on this site from Alonzo's family.
