James, Not sure if you have these or not. From CCC VA. Court Orders 1687-1695 by Weisiger. 3 Aug. 1692, Accounts bet. Thomas Kirkland, Plt, and Nicholas Whitmore and Mary his wife, Executrix of Richard Pace, one of the Executors of Hugh Kerkerland, is referred to audit of Capt. Perry and Capt. Taylor, who are allowed their court fees. (My guess here is that Richard Pace died much later than 1678 since this case is being heard in 1692?) 15 Oct. 1695 of laying the levy, Richard Pace 200, et al.(prob. his son?) Dec. 1687, Nich. Whitmore enters a caveat agst Sam: Voakes, his departure. 3 June 1692, Case of Tho. Kerkland agst. Nicho. Whittmore refered to the next court. From PG Co., VA County Records 1713-1728 by Weisiger: P. 253 Inventory of Nicholas Whitmore, the elder, Sept. 4, 1718. Value 11/17/0 presented to the court by Richard Whittmore. Appraised by Daniel Higdon, Joseph CArter, William Rees, Richard Rees. Recorded Sept. 7, 1718 Estate of Nicholas Whittmore, Jr. late of this country , Mentions: John Hardyman, David Goodgame, John Hatch, Col. Nath. Harrison Value 19/2/1, March 10, 1718. Exhibited in court by Elizabeth Whittmore, Adm'x. You may want to check out New Papyrus/Iberian Pub. on line to obtain some of these books by Weisiger for PG County. The small book is $12.95 and the large books are around $20. I find that I am referring to them alot with associated names. Seems like one name begets another and the PG records are very scarce.
