David Edmiston was born abt 1770 - 1772 in maybe Bourbon County, Kentucky, or in Havre-De-Grace, Delaware.
They married about 1784, and it is reported that David died 25 Aug 1834 probably in Ross County, Ohio. Another person thought David died in Jan on 1835 in Ross County, Ohio.
The couple is reported to have been in Bourbon County from 1770 to 1804 and they were in Ross County from 1804 to 1835. Elizabeth is believed to be the daughter of John McConnell and Elizabeth Young. This couple passed through Bourbon County, Kentucky, on their way to Ross County, Ohio, according to my records.
David Edmiston and Elizabeth McConnell are reported to have had eight children, but there may have been more. The children were John, Elizabeth, Thomas, Hannah, Robert, Matilda, Martha E. and Mary.
David's father may have been Robert Edmiston. But he is reported to have died abt 1798 near South Salem, Ross County, Ohio, and that date doesn't quite compute, unless he went to Ross County before his son did. And that is possible.
I would like to hear from anyone interested in this family.
