You may have this information, but for what it is worth..James Edmison of Amherst Co. VA was the father of Wm. Edmison. He was born in 1760 in Va. and died in Wilkes Co. N.C. in 1847. He married Mary Suddreth Blair was was the father of 13 children. Emanuel the fifth child born in N.C. in 1794 died in Dallas Co. Mo. in1854. He married Nancy Johnson in Ky. and with his family went to Dallas Co., Mo. from Hardin Co. TN. in the 1830's. They moved to Randolph Co, Ark.where their son Wm. Burse, born in TN in 1823 married Mary Harlow (b. Jefferson Co. IL.1834) They had the following children, Curtis, Joel, James, Harrison & Charles (twins), Calvin Noah, and Thomas. (Curtis is my Great-grandfather) . I hope this may help..
