Dear Jacquie

My great great great grand father was William Carritt who imigrated to Guysboro NS in 1823. I assume this may be the person you are looking for since his son was named William Peacock Carritt. Sometimes the name is spelled as Carritte. Certainly all my relative spell it that way now. He was a doctor from University of Endiburgh according to family legend but I don't know what sort. I am always looking for info on him. He is burried in Christ Church in Guysboro.

best wishes

peter Marengi
