I haven’t any connection from my Uncle’s line with George or Linda.
Just me passing on info I have and trying to help Linda find her line back
to Langham as you and Janice have, but where she will end up we don’t
know, trust Linda to be different!
I don’t know of Ronald/Reginald, but as always, will keep a lookout.
I seem to remember long ago from the mists of time you asking of a marriage in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire?

It is where my Uncle’s family ended up from Langham via Golden Valley
Derbyshire area, but this marriage doesn’t seem to belong to him that we know, does it mean anything to you?

I don’t know if you have ever used the 1837 online GRO index?
I haven’t…..yet….they have recently changed the site a little to
try to make it easier and more cost effective, i.e. less pages for
each search.
At the moment they are giving people a free search, year 1868 for births
There is one birth for, Elizabeth Mary Edgson, Pancras, 1b 129
You can also search the Regimental Births Index

I found Elsie G Edgson born 1896 and
Gladys Edgson born 1899, the place name was both Deritend
There is a place called Deritend near Birmingham, as you have Edgsons
who were in the army I wondered if these might be some of yours?
