EDGER, later EDGAR born in CUMBERLAND, ENGLAND: John Edgar I born April 22, 1811. He married Ann Arnison MAr 1, 1835 in England. She was the daughter of George Arnison. She also was born in Cumberland, England and died Jan 6, 1880 in New London Township, Henry County, Iowa. John and Ann had 5 children: George, William, John Edgar II and Joseph both died in the Civil War, and Thomas was born Oct 17, 1846 and died suddenly in accident, leaving his wife with 8 children (5 boys and 3 girls: One of these children was Charles and I am attempting to find data regarding Charles marriages and children. Also I am attempting to determine the children of John Edgar I; he married Vashti Walker after Ann's death. Attemting to connect Rebecca Edgar to one of these Edgar families.
