Heather: Your Asa, did he live in Michigan? We could be related. My Asa supposed son of Thomas of NY was born about 1804 in NY married Sally or Sarah Sears has son Silas b. 1826 in Shelby Mi. Sally died and Asa married Susan Newhall. They had many children including Mary (my Xgreat grandmother), Amanda, Harriet, Roswell, etc. Asa died in 1877. If you are related to them then we are related. DO you know Ruth Gibbons? She knows alot of this stuff. Let me know, am anxious to find cousins. Here is hoping. Edgcomber@aol.com
