My ancestor Wm (Billy) Edge appeared in Barbour
County AL about 1830. I have not been able to find
where he came from, although Wilkes Co GA has been
suggested. I found a Billy Edge who migrated to
Chambers Co AL. He was born in 1804. My Billy was
born in 1800 and appears to have come from west GA
but could also have come from Wilkes Co. This does
not help you, but it may help me. Thanks!
