Did your Andrew Edge ever go by the name Andrew Harper who first married Sarah Strickland and had a family by Harper in Ga. Then married some one else by the name Edge and went to either So. or No Carolina. We lost him there. He had several children as Harper. He was sometimes known as Boy Edge.Also his father was Wm. Harper who changed his name to Edge after the Cival War then back to Harper. We think this was to obtain his War Pension in 1880, since he had served as Harper.
