Donna, I have a Sarah EDGE who married Reuben STRINGER 9 Jun 1844 in Lumpkin Co., GA. For years I have had her listed as Sarah (STEPHENS) EDGE and have never been able to trace her line as an EDGE or a STEPHENS. According to censuses she was born abt 1828 in Georgia. She died sometime after 1880 in probably Conway County, Arkansas. Her son, Charles, married Sarah Elizabeth COULTER, daugter of Charles COULTER b: 1811 in Blount Co., TN and Isabella TIPTON. Is it just me, or does anyone else suspect a connection with the information you posted?
