I am searching ancestry and historical facts about James Edge who emigrated from England to Little Falls sometime about 1850. Birth abt. 1825. Marriage to Sarah Haywood, also from England. Three children, Elizabeth b. 1847, Margaret b. 1849, and Sarah Anna b. April 23, 1854 (my great grandmother).
He was a manufacturer of machine screws and according to information I have, died in a fire at this business in 1892. Can anyone confirm this?
Any further information about James, his family, ancestors or descendants would be appreciated. Thanks.
