There were a lot of edges who migrated to AL soon
after the Creek Cession about 1830. Some went to
Chambers County (some of these were from Wilkes
County GA) Others went to more southern counties.
I beleive some of these were from west GA, but
have only circumstantial evidence. The land grant
records may be a good research source, but they
are tedious to use. Jesse was a common name among
several groups of Edges. I ahve several but none
match yours.
