My Great Grandmother was a Catherine Edge who married John Higgins (born in Ireland abt 1841) sometime in 1867 in (?)Preston Lancashire, England. She and John had 8 children (Mary, James, Margaret, Ann Jane, Luke, John, Thomas - my Grandfather and Elizabeth. Information on the descendants of her children, other than Thomas, would be great! I have a complete family tree on Thomas Higgins (married Elizabeth Ann Richmond of Preston)if anyone is interested.
I have absolutely no information on where Catherine was born or who her parents were. She may have also been born in Ireland. Can anyone help fill in the many blanks in this end of my family tree please?
