Am researching Jesse EDGE family. He was born in "GA" about 1807 and showed up for the first time in 1830 Pike Co., AL. One early child was born in Troup Co, GA 1838, while others report being born in AL. He moved to Russell Co., AL 1840 and Barbour Co., AL 1850, Walton Co., AL 1860 and died in Walton after 1870.

We think this family ties back to the Nehemiah EDGE family of Wilkes Co., GA, but cannot find the parents or siblings of Jesse. We think he had a brother William and a sister Mary.

Ties to CADENHEAD, FAULK, CUTTS, BISHOP, McLAUGHLIN families and perhaps Jones Co., GA, also.
