I should have put my own name, but I'm a novice at this and have mental lapses. Anyway, in re-reading your mail of July 29, you mentioned searching for a genealogy book on the Edgars. I have a contact Robert Edgar at edgarfsa@ncn.com who has a very old book on the Edgars. That may be what you're looking for. He lecturers in Scottish history, etc., and might be able to help you.
