Hi Edgar cousins, I'm going to Scotland next summer and plan to do some research in the Dumfrieshire, Nithsdale area of Scotland. Have any of you been there? I would appreciate any info you could give me about the trail of the Edgars in that area. Also did you know that the Edgar folk are a sept of Clan Dunbar? Their area was on the eastern side of Scottish border country. Whether or noth the western and eastern Edgars are of the same ancestral lineage remains to be seen (at least for me). And did you know we are of royal blood (for whatever thrills that gives anyone!).
Will appreciate any input.
