Lauren, that John T. Edgar (l858, Ala.) was probably my gggrandfather. He went to Ala. from Ga. between l840 and l850. It's his father I'm looking for. I may have found his mother in Walton Co. l820 Ga. census, but not sure. From bits and pieces I'm picking up, they seem to have come down the Old Wagon Trail, but I can't document that yet. By the way, who are your Edgar ancestors? My mother was an Edgar. Will appreciate anything you can pass along.
