My family descends from William Edgar and Eleanor Prest of
Spennithorne, Yorkshire c1730. They had 11 children, including
Thomas, born 1822, Spennithorne who married Anne Speight Bowes.
Son Joseph, joiner/carpenter, b1856, Stapleton, Yks, married 1881, Mary Elizabeth
Storey of Low Coniscliffe, Durham and they raised their family
there. Two of their four children emigrated to Canada. I am
interested in finding the other two Joseph Walker Edgar, carpenter/undertaker,
b 1883 and Cissie Edgar, b 1885 in Darlington, Durham.
