My great-grandfather was Mathew John Edgar, b.1856 in Randalstown, Co. Antrim, N.Ireland. He m. Martha Jane (Shields?) She was b. 24Jul1865 in Killyleagh, Co. Down, N.Ireland. My grandmother, Elizabeth Lorraine Edgar was their only child to live to adulthood. Mathew's father was Mathew Edgar, b ca.1820 in Ireland. He m. Elizabeth Blakely, b.ca.1823. Their first son, William John Edgar, was b. 1847 in Killyleagh. He m. Elizabeth Louise Doran in 1867. They immigrated to the US in 1887. The rest of Mathew's children were:
James, d. of typhoid, Robert, Sarah A. m. Noah Ramshaw (b.Suffolk, England), Elizabeth m. ? Phillips, and Mary Ann m. ? Fritch. Can you help? I don't know where to start....
