The Narcissus Emmaline Edgar that I have,born: 11 april 1879 in Kentucky,(I don't know what county)died: 18 july 1944 in Fredrick,Oklahoma. is buried at Davidson, Oklahoma.(Tillman County)Married William Albert Jordan, born;23 Feb, 1876 died 23 Dec 1943 in Carsbad,New Mexico. buried also at Davidson, Oklahoma.(Tillman County)They have 10 children.
My mother was told by Narcissus Emmaline , that Narcissus was raised by an uncle, by the name of James Abraham Edgar. That the family said that Narcissus Emmaline was an orphan, and never spoke of her parents or siblings.Thats all we really know,,don't know if her parents died when she was young and her uncle raised her, or if the family was so big and having a hard time, so an uncle stepped in to help raise her, We don't know anything eles other than this info.
Narcissus and William had 10 children, the sixth child born was my grandmother, named Jessie James Jordan married Thomas Hawkins Wallis. My grandmother was born in Indiahoma,Oklahoma.
If you have any info that might be linked to this family, it would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
Dwana
