Roy,
The following is from the 1850 Tennessee Census Index. "Edgar, J.H. 34, Mary 29, Blakey 9, Mary 8, James 5, William H. 3, T T, He-6-269". The two T's indicate John and Mary were born in Tennessee, the "He-6-269" is Henderson County, household #6, page 269.
If you find anything that might help me with my query further down the page I'd like to hear from you.
