John Edgar m. Janet Finnis in Northumberland Co., NB, Canada abt. 1825. John Emigrated to Canada in 1821 and in 1824. They may have move to/from Maine at some point but settled
in Miramichi area - Nelson/Derby

Their children were Elizabeth, Henry, Mary Ann, Ellen Beattie, Janet & John all b. 1829-1843.

Elizabeth m. John Forth in 1860
Ellen Beattie m. Joseph Vye August 17, 1854
Janet m. George Goddard June 8, 1874
