Frankie, I am an EDGAR descendant. One of my 3g-grandfathers was James Edgar of SC, then TN, then TX. We believe he was one of Adam Edgar's sons (or grandsons). We are already participating in the DNA project; my granduncle, James D. Edgar submitted the sample; the participant of record is his daughter, Ellen (EDGAR) Walker. We are about to get two samples submitted from William EDGAR's descendants. We believe William was Adam's oldest son. I have a lot of information on our line of EDGAR ancestors, at least back to James and his wife, Selah WITHERINGTON. Send me an email; I would be happy to share with you what we have.
