Augusta church history, 1737 – 1900 – many coming up the valley from PA. Augusta County covered, in 1745 – KY, OH, IN, IL, WVA.
Dr. Craig was a Presbyterian minister, born in Antrim, Ireland 1709. He received his masters from the college of Edinburgh, and came from Donegal to Philadelphia to Virginia.
In the 1760s Robert, John and Adam Edgar bought land in Augusta Co.

Is this the George Edgar of Bedford Co. VA, who died there ca 1765? Children listed in his will: John, Jenet Robinson, Agnes McDavid, James, Mary, Thomas and George, Jr.
