Hello,

I hope my question wasn't answered in previous posts as I can't possibly read through them all! I am researching a branch of Edgars located around London, U.K. I haven't got very far yet as I am doing all the research online and one tends to hit a wall pretty early on. The Edgar in question is John Edgar (yes very vague I know!) who was born around 1809-1811. He married Rebecca White and from there I have found pretty good records. However, I know he died before the 1861 census but I can find no record of when or how. Also, I cannot find a birth record for him so I do not know who his parents were. If anyone happens to be researching this branch or stumbles across some useful info, would you please contact me? Thanks!
