The Robert Edgar (born: January 15, 1796) that is married to Mary Scott in Dumphriesshire, Scotland had 11 children (that i could find) - sources i used were Monumental Inscriptions, Old Parish Records, etc. names of children were: William, Archibald, Margaret, Jane, John, Mary Ann, Thomasine, Francis (or Johanne), Francis, ** Robert and Joseph. My male lineage is the ** Robert Edgar born in Canonbie, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.
Robert's (married to Mary Scott)lineage goes back to the late 1600's by my records. All from Dumfriesshire, Scotland so far.
Robert's son, Robert Edgar, was born January 10, 1840 in Canonbie, Dumfriesshire, Scotland, and he married Jane Thom on June 9, 1862 in Durham, Sunderland, England.
The son of Robert and Mary Scott, John Edgar, was born on March 17, 1830, baptised on March 28, 1830 in Canonbie, Dumfriesshire, Scotland.
