Lexington, Tenn.,- Feb 21- The two-story ten-room residence building of Dr. J.P. Joyce, located in the Henry addition just west of Huntington street, on the north side of Lexington caught fire Monday in the roof from a defective flue, and was destroyed. A few of the household effects were saved. Insurance of $2,000 and $500 on furnishings was carried.
Sunday night a vacant cottage on the nort side of Lexington was burned. Ther property was owned by J.R. Edgar and was not insured.
